Educational Projects

Bona Fide engages in a variety of educational projects. Some of this work is described in Bona Fide's History Projects and Idaho Song Collecting pages. We also support music and Idaho history programs in elementary schools. Bona Fide also presents present programs in elementary schools in southwest Idaho in close collaboration with John Larsen and the outreach program of the Owyhee County Historical Society.

Colonel William H. Dewey, legendary capitalist of the Owyhee region a century ago, sometimes performs with Bona Fide at educational and historical events. Col. Dewey often disguises himself as Bona Fide's good friend John Larsen of Givens Hot Springs!
